New Palestine picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Josh Ranes. Ranes did his part (and then some), rushing for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
New Palestine's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-0-1. Ranes and New Palestine will square off against New Castle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sadly, Garrett Pederson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Pendleton Heights over Delta on Friday. Pederson picked up two sacks and made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Pendleton Heights is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6. Pederson and Pendleton Heights will host Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
