After three games on the road, Annapolis is heading back home. They will take on the Arundel Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Arundel took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Annapolis, who comes in off a win.
Annapolis scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 75-42 victory over DuVal on the road. With Annapolis ahead 43-22 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Annapolis found their leader in underclassman Audrey Skinner, who scored 15 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lindsay Lyman, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Arundel had to suffer through a rough 66-17 loss at the hands of Southern. Arundel has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Annapolis' win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Arundel, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
Annapolis skirted past Arundel 44-42 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Does Annapolis have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arundel turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
