The Conneaut Spartans took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 66-54 win over Horizon Science Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Conneaut also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Chance Loomis was on fire: he scored 27 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. J.R. Hutchison was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Conneaut's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Horizon Science Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conneaut will take on Northwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Horizon Science Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lawrence Upper at 6:30 p.m.
