It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but New Hope had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Pontotoc Warriors. The win was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on five straight.

New Hope was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pontotoc only posted a batting average of .207.
New Hope pushed their record up to 22-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Pontotoc, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-12.
