The Collinsville Cardinals had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past Coweta 23-20. That's another feather in the cap for Collinsville, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Collinsville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Skyler Moorman led the charge by throwing for 228 yards and two touchdowns. Ben Daniels also helped out with an impressive 92 receiving yards.
Collinsville has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. As for Coweta, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.
Collinsville is on the road again on Friday and play against Carl Albert. Carl Albert will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. Coweta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
