When it comes to explaining why Hardin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ricko Denman. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Denman's third in a row with at least ten points.
Founders Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joseph Morales led the charge by scoring 20 points along with 4 steals. Morales hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Cody Baker was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 rebounds.
Hardin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Founders Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5.
Hardin won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Colmesneil at 10:30 a.m. on December 1st. As for Founders Christian, they will face off against Spurger at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
