East Lansing fell 23-22 to Caledonia in the closest game of the week. JAKE PENDRED threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns in the loss.
East Lansing's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground RONNIE RUSSEL chipped in 44 yards. CALEB GOODMAN helped East Lansing's passing attack out by catching two balls for 50 yards.
JAVON HAINES was the best wideout in Capital Area - Blue this week as Bill Feraco's team lost to the Fighting Scots. HAINES racked up eight receptions for 103 yards.
The Trojans' PENDRED and HAINES have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. PENDRED has thrown for 1442 yards this season, while HAINES, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 52 catches for 799 yards. Holt's Ty Glover leads the league in rushing yards with 1063.
