Trego's Devon Ghumm recorded the longest rushing play in Mid-Continent (8 Man) this season in his game against Hoxie last week. Ghumm scampered for 72 yards on the play and finished with 86 on the day as his team fell to the Indians.
Osborne extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Stockton, 52-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Bulldogs.
Osborne's dynamic duo of Jake Tiernan and Brandt Wolters proved tough for the Tigers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Tiernan threw for 97 yards and two touchdowns and Wolters had 70 yards receiving. Kenton Ubelaker helped Osborne's passing attack out by catching two balls for 24 yards.
Cameron Staples was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 173 yards on 41 carries as Trego defeated Stockton.
The Bulldogs' Tiernan and Ubelaker have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Mid-Continent (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Tiernan has thrown for 547 yards this season, while Ubelaker has 21 catches for 310 yards. Staples from Myron Flax's team leads the league in rushing with 708 yards.
Osborne suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 52-6 loss to Osborne. The Bulldogs had been ranked 24th, but fell to 30 following the defeat.
