The biggest upset of the week belonged to West Plains, who defeated 66th ranked Joplin, 34-31. Jacob Womack ran for 69 yards and caught 5 passes for 156 yards during the win.
The Zizzers scaled the state rankings by moving to 84 from 123 this week, the biggest jump in Ozarks. West Plains climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Eagles 34-31.
Lebanon's dynamic duo of Luke Winfrey and Austin Knight proved to be unstoppable against Hillcrest, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Winfrey threw for 323 yards and 3 touchdowns and Knight had 162 yards receiving. Josh Archer helped Lebanon's passing attack out by catching 8 balls for 60 yards.
Juwan Johnson was a beast in the backfield as the Hornets beat the Yellowjackets.
He went 28-37 with 3 interceptions.
6-foot-2 quarterback Anthony Cooper of Kickapoo is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,003. He has also thrown 13 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Connor Ratcliff. The Parkview star has 35 catches for 586 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Kickapoo takes on second place Hillcrest. The Chiefs beat Glendale last week, while Hillcrest defeated Lebanon.
Two of the top teams in the league will go toe-to-toe this week when John Beckham's team takes on Kickapoo. The Hornets' offense has racked up 199 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while Joel Wells' team has allowed only 81 on the year.
There should be lots of points scored when Hillcrest and the Chiefs face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Hornets comes in having scored 199 this season, while Kickapoo has scored 185. Hillcrest scored 52 points last week as it bested Will Christian's team.
The Chiefs extended the longest winning streak in Ozarks this week by beating the Falcons, 47-17. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
