North Star/Starkweather took care of business in their home opener. They captured a comfortable 17-0 win over Drake/Anamoose.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 12-66, which was the final score in Lakota/Dakota Prairie's tilt against Hatton/Northwood on Friday.
North Star/Starkweather's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Lakota/Dakota Prairie's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if North Star/Starkweather can add another positive mark to their record or if Lakota/Dakota Prairie can shake off the loss and take the spring out of North Star/Starkweather's step.
