The Platte Valley Broncos won the last time they faced the Middle Park Panthers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Platte Valley had just enough and edged Middle Park out 54-52.
Among those leading the charge was Braylon Edstrom, who scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. Kody Ruesink was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 rebounds.
Platte Valley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Middle Park, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Platte Valley will head out on the road to face off against Berthoud at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Middle Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
