Tradon Bessinger Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Davis's Tradon Bessinger, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Bessinger threw for 405 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per attempt. He's now once again averaging 300+ passing yards (307.5) per game. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Davis' win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Bessinger and Davis will take on Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Travis Hoopes Turns in Season-Best Effort
Travis Hoopes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Farmington to the win on Friday. Hoopes rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Farmington's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5. Hoopes will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Davis on Thursday.

Fremont Gets a Boost from Tuatagaloa in 28-18 Victory
Manase Tuatagaloa's big game helped extend Fremont's winning streak to six on Friday. Syracuse had no answer to Tuatagaloa as he threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes, and also rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.
Tuatagaloa and Fremont will play host again on Thursday to welcome Weber, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Tuatagaloa will face off against Crew Cacciacarne, the Warriors' star signal caller. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.

Drew Love Makes It Two for Farmington
The second Farmington player making an appearance here is Drew Love, and for good reason. He rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
On the year, Love has run in those 2 touchdowns while averaging 47.7 rushing yards per game.

Bode Sparrow Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Davis got the W thanks in part to Bode Sparrow playing the best football he has all season. Sparrow picked up 146 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 22 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Sparrow has caught 11 touchdowns while averaging 77.6 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had six receiving touchdowns.
