Wilsonville will take on St. Helens at home at 7:00 PM on Thursday. St. Helens will need to watch out since Wilsonville have now posted big point totals in their last six contests.
Wilsonville might be getting used to good results now that the team have six wins in a row. They took their match against Scappoose last Friday by a conclusive 41-20 score. Among those leading the charge for Wilsonville was senior Nathan Overholt, who passed for 172 yards and 4 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Overholt's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past six games.
Meanwhile, St. Helens got themselves on the board against Cleveland, but Cleveland never followed suit. St. Helens steamrollered Cleveland 48-0. St. Helens were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Wilsonville to 6-0 and St. Helens to 3-3. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
