Carlmont won the last time they faced Hillsdale, and Hean Ng did his part to make sure it happened again. Carlmont skirted past Hillsdale 3-2 with plenty of help from Ng, who had 19 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game.

Carlmont had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 21-25, 29-27, 25-12, 15-13.

The victory made it two in a row for Carlmont and bumps their season record up to 9-5. As for Hillsdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Carlmont will face off against rival Menlo-Atherton at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hillsdale is set to challenge their familiar foe Aragon at 5:45 p.m. on April 9.
