Glen Rose had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the Springtown Porcupines by a score of 50-43. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Porcupines are ranked 714th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Glen Rose's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Springtown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
