Johnson extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Jera Salters. The Johnson Jaguars came out on top against the LEE Volunteers by a score of 62-51 on Saturday thanks in part to Salters, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Mitchell, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points and five steals. She is becoming a predictor of Johnson's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 18-5 (and 2-3 when she doesn't).

Johnson is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.
