The Deep Run Wildcats were the  67-51 winner over the J.R. Tucker Tigers when they last played one another  back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Deep Run fell  52-39 to J.R. Tucker on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Deep Run has scored all season.
 Despite the  loss, Deep Run had strong showings from  Chris Suber, who  scored 12 points along with five  rebounds and three  steals, and  Kemji Onyiuke, who  scored nine points.
 Deep Run  struggled to get the ball back on offense and  finished the game with only two  offensive rebounds. That's the fewest  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Deep Run's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for J.R. Tucker, their victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deep Run will take on Freeman at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Virginia (Freeman is ranked 162nd, while Deep Run is ranked 173rd). As for J.R. Tucker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thomas Jefferson at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Thomas Jefferson is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 52.5  points per game.
