The Chinle Wildcats won against the Alchesay Falcons last Tuesday with 73 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Chinle took down the Falcons 73-56. Winning may never get old, but Chinle sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Jostaiah Harvey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Kalem Denetsosie was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Chinle pushed their record up to 17-4 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Alchesay, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
Chinle will head out on the road to square off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tuba City knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully the Wildcats likes a good challenge. As for Alchesay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Monument Valley's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
