They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Poultney Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in West Rutland's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Last Wednesday, everything went West Rutland's way against Blue Mountain as West Rutland made off with a 57-36 win.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Poultney, who are still winless after their fifth game. They fell just short of Twin Valley by a score of 47-45. Poultney has not had much luck with Twin Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
West Rutland's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Poultney, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
West Rutland came up short against Poultney when the teams last played back in February, falling 50-37. Can West Rutland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
