Pocono Mountain East walked away with a 64-51 win over Stroudsburg on Wednesday. This was payback for Pocono Mountain East, who suffered a 59-42 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Pocono Mountain East can attribute much of their success to Taemus Jones, who scored 24 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least 25% of Pocono Mountain East's points. Khaden Daley was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Pocono Mountain East's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Stroudsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pocono Mountain East will take on Pleasant Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stroudsburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Easton Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
