Tareavion Mageo Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is White Oak's Tareavion Mageo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mageo rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
The victory was the fifth in a row for White Oak, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Mageo's next matchup is against Dixon on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Big Game from Payne As West Carteret Fell 63-42
West Carteret had to settle for second on Friday, but Tanner Payne sure wasn't going down easily. White Oak had no answer to Payne as he threw for 403 yards and five touchdowns.
On the season, Payne has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 279.3 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging seven passing yards per game.

Caleb Simco Delivers Electric Performance Vs Croatan
Caleb Simco's big game helped extend Richlands's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Simco as he rushed for 230 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 117 yards on eight of 15 attempts. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Richlands pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Simco and Richlands will venture away from home to face off against West Carteret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Semaj Thompson and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Semaj Thompson's big game helped extend Richlands's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Thompson as he picked up five sacks and made 11 total tackles.
This year, Thompson has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game and for the season has 6.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one sack.

Jasiah Jones Makes It Two for West Carteret
The second West Carteret player making an appearance here is Jasiah Jones, and for good reason. He picked up 167 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 65 yards.
White Oak's probably not too fond of Jones given he always seems to get the better of them. Jones picked up 176 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Vikings duked it out back in October of 2023.
