Olive Branch was the 78-60 winner over Fayette Ware when they last played one another back in January of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Olive Branch Conquistadors took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fayette Ware Wildcats. The Conquistadors' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

It was another big night for Tarecous Stevens, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 12 boards for Fayette Ware. The dominant performance gave Stevens a new career-high in points. Tacarien Freeman was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten assists.

Olive Branch's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Fayette Ware, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Olive Branch will venture away from home to square off against Starkville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fayette Ware will take on The Webb School in a holiday battle at at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Fayette Ware is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.7 points per game this season.
