West Jefferson is a perfect 6-0 against Greeneview since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Roughriders will be playing at home against the Rams at 5:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Jefferson comes in on seven and Greeneview on four.
West Jefferson's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Triad with a sharp 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Roughriders, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Jenna Mannon made a splash no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Payton Kincade, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Mia Burgett was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
West Jefferson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Greeneview earned a 13-8 win over Clinton-Massie on Wednesday.
Rylie Battista was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Simpson, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
West Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Greeneview, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.
Greeneview's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: West Jefferson has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Greeneview, though, as they've been averaging 9.2 hits. Given West Jefferson's sizable advantage in that area, the Rams will need to find a way to close that gap.
