Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-0  on Tuesday.
 Reina Schroeckenthaler paced Wayland Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Schroeckenthaler got some help from  Ella Kikkert and her 14 assists.
  Layla Thimm was  her usual excellent self,  getting seven  digs, five  kills, four  aces,  and one  block for Hustisford. What's more,  Thimm racked up 15 assists, the most she's  had since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaydence Muche, who  had 12  digs and three  assists.
Wayland Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Hustisford, their win bumped their record up to 3-16.
