Henley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on Caldera at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Caldera took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Henley, who comes in off a win.
Henley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season. Everything went their way against Yreka on Tuesday as Henley made off with a 58-35 win. Given Henley's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 44th in Oregon, while Yreka is ranked 831st in California), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Caldera suffered a rough 75-51 loss at the hands of North Eugene on Saturday. Caldera was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-16.
Henley's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Caldera, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
Henley took their victory against Caldera in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 65-42. Does Henley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Caldera turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
