On Friday, White House came up short against Hardin County and fell 29-22. While losing is never fun, White House can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 137th, while Hardin County is ranked 44th).
It was another big night for Carter Smith, who threw for 202 yards and a touchdown. Hardin County also got a significant boost from Jacob Saunders, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
White House has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Hardin County, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
White House does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hardin County will stay at home for another week and welcome Marshall County at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th.
