The Champaign Central Maroons's three-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They secured a 43-39 W over Decatur Eisenhower. The victory was just what Champaign Central needed coming off of a 61-39 loss in their prior game.
Luke Swanson was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 12 points along with three steals. Aidyn Beck was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Champaign Central's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6. As for Decatur Eisenhower, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-7.
Champaign Central and KIPP will round out the year against one another at 9:15 p.m. on December 28th at. Decatur Eisenhower will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Collinsville at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th.
