Basketball Game Preview: John Milledge Academy Trojans vs. Brentwood War Eagles

John Milledge Academy has gone 10-0 against Brentwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The John Milledge Academy Trojans will take on the Brentwood War Eagles in a tournament on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, in a tight match that could have gone either way, John Milledge Academy made off with a 51-50 victory over Trinity Christian.

John Milledge Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaiah Johnson, who posted 17 points along with six steals and five assists. Johnson is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin England, who went 5 of 12 en route to 13 points.

Meanwhile, Brentwood put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Pinewood Christian 69-26. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 36 points or more this season.

Brentwood's win came from a few key players John Milledge Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jaelen Johnson, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Baylor Cobb, who had 13 points.

Brentwood's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for John Milledge Academy, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
