Laguna Beach lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dylan McEachern, who scored 23 points. McEachern has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Burchi, who scored 17 points.
Huntington Beach's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-13. As for Laguna Beach, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-16.
