Despite the defeat, Hayden had strong showings from Rya Lagunas, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds and three steals, and Trinity Collier, who scored four points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Kindsey Porter was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 steals. Another player making a difference was Kayla Reidhead, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Hayden's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Mogollon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Dishchii'bikoh the next time they take the court. Hayden will host Dishchii'bikoh at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mogollon will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
