Caruthers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Hanford West Huskies 3-0. The Blue Raiders have beaten the Huskies the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Huskies has come to flipping the script.

Caruthers was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-22, 26-24.

Caruthers' win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Hanford West, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Caruthers will face off against Kerman at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last five games the Lions have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Hanford West, they will square off against Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
