Bangor is 0-5 against Lawrence since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bangor Vikings will be home for the holidays to greet the Lawrence Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Lawrence took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bangor, who comes in off a win.
Even though Bangor has not done well against Decatur recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Bangor was the clear victor by a 54-30 margin over Decatur.
Meanwhile, Lawrence suffered a rough 57-35 loss at the hands of Hartford on Thursday. Lawrence has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ben McCaw put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 23 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. He scored a full 65.7% of Lawrence's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noel Saldana, who scored three points along with four steals.
Bangor's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2. As for Lawrence, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
