Bellarmine-Jefferson (Burbank, Calif.)'s Johnathan Porter played well. The sophomore quarterback threw one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to two on the year.
The Guards' lone touchdown came on an 18-yard pass from Porter to Josh Martinez in the third quarter.
The Kares came into the game allowing 12.6 points per game. Bellarmine-Jefferson's six points were well below its season average of 34.5 per game.
