It was a good run, but the Nolan Catholic Vikings unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool by a score of 71-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Thursday (58), Nolan Catholic still had to take the loss.
Toby Pike continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The game was Pike's 16th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Aguilar, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Nolan Catholic now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
Nolan Catholic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Prestonwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Prestonwood Christian is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool and Grace Prep will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Grace Prep is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
