Inspiration Academy waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over the Elizabeth Forward Warriors.
Elle Hildreth was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Those 14 strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
