The Southwind Jaguars posted their biggest win since December 5, 2023 on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 49-28 margin over Cordova. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southwind.
Tashawn Hubbard continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 21 points, 11 rebounds, and ten steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Ari'elle Stinson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Southwind now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Cordova, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwind will take on Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southwind in Tennessee (Houston is ranked 79th, while Southwind is ranked 251st). As for Cordova, they will be playing at home against Arlington at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
