In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 21-20 win over South Newton. The score was all tied up 8-8 at the break, but Frontier was the better team in the second half.
Tri-Central fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They came out on top against Clinton Central by a score of 21-14 on Friday.
The critical scores for Tri-Central came from Brody Arnold, Owen Tolle, and Jacob Cline.
Frontier's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4. As for Tri-Central, their win on Friday bumped their record up to 3-6.
