Portsmouth/Oyster River had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They will square off against Windham at 1:30 PM on Saturday. Portsmouth/Oyster River come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Portsmouth/Oyster River, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Exeter, falling 6-42.
Meanwhile, Windham faced Pinkerton in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Windham took their matchup against Pinkerton 35-21. Windham are sitting pretty right now with three consecutive wins.
Windham's win lifted them to 5-3 while Portsmouth/Oyster River's loss dropped them down to 1-7. We'll find out if Windham can add another positive mark to their record or if Portsmouth/Oyster River can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Windham's step.
