Baseball Recap: Camden Fairview Has No Trouble Against Prescott

Camden Fairview won the last time they faced Prescott and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cardinals blew past the Curley Wolves 10-2. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Zac Morehead was incredible, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayson Connelly, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and one run.

Camden Fairview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

The victory made it two in a row for Camden Fairview and bumps their season record up to 6-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Prescott, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden Fairview will venture away from home to face off against Junction City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Prescott, they will face off against Bismarck at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
