Overton came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Alto Yellowjackets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The victory didn't come easy: Alto scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-28, 25-18, 26-24.

Overton's win bumped their record up to 23-10. As for Alto, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Overton will challenge rival Latexo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Alto is set to face off against their familiar foe Carlisle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
