After three games on the road, Clint is heading back home. They will take on the Mountain View Lobos at TBD on Friday.
Clint suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 66-36 defeat at the hands of Riverside. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clint in their matchups with Riverside: they've now lost six in a row.
Even though Mountain View has not done well against San Elizario recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Mountain View walked away with a 45-37 win over San Elizario. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mountain View.
Mountain View can attribute much of their success to Matthew Slosar, who scored 12 points. Jesus " gio" Rodriguez was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Clint's defeat was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-15. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 6-17.
Clint might still be hurting after the 61-35 loss they got from Mountain View in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Clint avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
