The Garrison Bulldogs and the Timpson Bears squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Garrison Bulldogs had to settle for second. They fell 35-23 to the Bears. Garrison has struggled against Timpson recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Garrison still got an impressive performance from Brayden Davidson, who rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 81 yards and a touchdown.
Terry Bussey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Timpson, rushing for 242 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 124 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Garrison's defeat dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Timpson, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.
Garrison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Timpson will head out on the road to face off against Ganado at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ganado has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 183 points over their last four games.
