Anthony Hopkins Tops All Others This Week
Starting off the list is Northgate's Anthony Hopkins, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hopkins picked up 37 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Northgate is 2-1 when Hopkins posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.
With the win, Northgate broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5. Hopkins and Northgate will be playing in front of their home fans against Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Summit Academy's probably not too fond of Layne given he always seems to get the better of them. Layne rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 87 yards and two touchdowns on only seven passes the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in September of 2023.

Jino Mozzocio Goes Supernova in Neshannock Victory
Jino Mozzocio was instrumental in extending Neshannock's winning streak to five on Friday. Mozzocio was unstoppable, rushing for 93 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 115 yards while completing 75% of his passes.
Neshannock pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. They and Summit Academy are set to duel on Friday.

Kolton Carlson and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
Kolton Carlson was instrumental in extending Laurel's winning streak to four on Friday. Carlson turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 83 receiving yards.
Shenango's probably not too fond of Carlson given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Carlson saw the Wildcats), he picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 52 yards on only five carries.

Jack Miles Makes It Two for Laurel
Keeping Carlson company is Jack Miles, a fellow Laurel player. He picked up 39 receiving yards.
On the season, Miles has caught 1 touchdown while averaging 50.2 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 10.38 receiving yards per game.
