Martin Luther had won two straight games and Gabriella Salzer did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Spartans came out on top against the St. Anthony Roman Legion by a score of 3-1 with plenty of help from Salzer, who had 40 digs and five aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.3 digs per game.

Martin Luther had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-10, 25-22.

Martin Luther's win bumped their record up to 15-19. As for St. Anthony, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-12.

Martin Luther didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against New Berlin West on the 23rd. St. Anthony does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
