The Brandywine Bulldogs had trouble on Tuesday, and unfortunately for them, their next opponent is a big step up in difficulty. They are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Mount Pleasant Green Knights. Coming off of a loss in a game they were expected to win, Brandywine now face the more daunting task of proving themselves against unfavorable odds.
The Bulldogs suffered a grim 85-65 defeat to DuPont. It was supposed to be a close contest, and Brandywine was supposed to come out on top, but neither of those things ended up happening.
Meanwhile, Mount Pleasant faced Appoquinimink in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Mount Pleasant fell to Appoquinimink 70-60.
Both of these teams will be looking to put their recent losses behind them and walk away with a win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
