Hobbs put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 43-35 win over the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Hobbs' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lubbock-Cooper, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Coming up, Hobbs will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pebble Hills at 6:00 p.m. As for Lubbock-Cooper, they will take on Frenship Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
