Keith extended the longest winning streak in 1A Region 3 this week by beating Akron, 32-25. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Billingsley was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. The Bears beat Ellwood Christian 6-0 earlier in the week.
Billingsley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Thomas Nichols has thrown for 569 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Torrey Green has 10 catches for 179 yards. Terrance Nolen leads the league in rushing with 402 yards.
A big matchup in 1A Region 3 this week will be when Billingsley takes on the Rams. Tyson Mclean's team is currently in third, while Akron is in fourth.
Sunshine took down Holy Spirit Catholic 46-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
