 Even though they lost, Garden Grove  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 12  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Grace only tossed seven.
 On Grace's side,  Rosy Salazar was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out seven batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   five  hits. Salazar was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of her three plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Ava Depew was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and a  double.
 Garden Grove's defeat  ended  a  seven-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 16-10. As for Grace,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 18-3-1.
 Garden Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace, they will square off against Liberty at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Liberty: 2.8, Grace: 2) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
