Volleyball Recap: Olpe Has No Trouble Against Northern Heights

Olpe won the last time they faced Northern Heights and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Wildcats 3-0. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Olpe was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-19.

Lilly Skalsky paced Olpe's offense, picking up 16 kills. Skalsky got some help from Kayla Steinke and her 19 assists. Finally, Ella Wilson kept Olpe's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Olpe's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 17-11. As for Northern Heights, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Olpe will square off against Flinthills on Monday. Northern Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
