Ellie Freeth was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adriana Catania, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhiannon Murray, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Hamilton lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Adirondack's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Hamilton has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 12.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Adirondack, though, as they've been averaging only 3.8 strikeouts. Will Hamilton keep running through batters, or will the Wildcats buck the trend?
Hamilton beat Adirondack 4-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Emerald Knights repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
